8 Wonders Of Flores

DAY 1 ARRIVAL MAUMERE

Upon arrival at Maumere on the island of Flores you will be welcomed and transfer Transfer in to Sea World Club or Waility for overnight.

NOTE: Pick up by Driver & Car From Hotel Sea world Club . Guide and driver will be met you in the afternoon.

DAY 2  MAUMERE – MONI (B) +/- 100KM

After Breakfast visit Wuring a Fishing Village at Maumere. Onwards to Sikka is known for is old church from 1899 and Ikat which is enthusiastically sold by the local people. At Paga Beach a moment to relax and if you like you can swim here. In Moni you’ll stay overnight at KelimutuEcoLodge. Rooms are non AC in this cool hill climate. At night you could make a stroll through the small village of Moni.

DAY 3 MT. KELIMUTU – ENDE (B) +/- 60KM

Early morning wake up call for departure to the Kelimutu volcano. A short walk (30 minutes) will take you to the look out point to wait for the sunrise. Kelimutu means Mountain of the Spirits. Known for its famous 3 colour lakes: Turquoise, Brown and Black.  It’s the dissolved minerals that give the different colours. Breakfast after return to the hotel. Onwards to Ende. En route visit the Lio village of Saga. From Nuabosi you will enjoy the magnicifent panorama over the bay and town before driving into town. Overnight at Grand Wisata Hotel.

DAY 4 ENDE – RIUNG (B)   +/- 180 KM

Breakfast at the hotel. Today will take you through beautiful landscape from the south coast, with stop at green stone beach PenggaJawa, to the dryer north coast of Flores. The last part of the road is still in a poor state. Overnight at Pondok SVD or Bintang Wisata

DAY 5 RIUNG – 17 ISLANDS – BAJAWA (B,L) 72 KM

Today a boat trip to the National Park 17 islands near Riung. Here a great variety of fish and coral can be seen. Snorkels are included in the tour. But the first stop is at the hundreds of Flying Foxes that hang in the mangrove forests near the coast. Lunch at one of the remote islands. On return to Riung depart for Bajawa. En route visit Soahotspring where the hot water boils to the surface. You can take a bath if you like. Check into the Hotel. Overnight at Happy Happy GH or Silverin or Bintang Wisata Hotel in Bajawa

DAY 6 BAJAWA – RUTENG (B) 133 KM

In the morning a visit to the traditional village of Bena. Besides still in tact, with the megalith stones besides the old houses, this village has beautiful location with views of Mount Inerie. In the afternoon depart for Ruteng. On the way visit Lake Rana Mese. Overnight Santa Maria or Dahlia Hotel in Ruteng.

DAY 7 RUTENG – LABUAN BAJO (B) 137 KM

Morning to Labuan Bajo. En route visit spiderweb ricefields at Cacar and mirror Cave near Labuan Bajo. Afternoon at leisure and overnight at hotel

DAY 8  LABUAN BAJO – KELOR ISLAND -RINCA ISLAND –  KALONG ISLAND (B,L,D)

Our purpose today is to see the Komodo Dragon. This largest living lizard on earth lives on 3 islands Rinca, Padar& Komodo and some parts of West Flores. Its length can go up to 3 meters with weight of up to 90 kilo.Breakfast at hotel, transfer to the harbour to board to kelor island for snorkeling before to less famous Rinca island. After 1 hour sailing we reach LohBuaya. Led by a local ranger 2 hour soft trekking through forest and savanna. Komodo Dragons are often spotted on the way. From the highest point on this hike a beautiful panorama of the surrounding island. After that, we moving to Kalong Island to see a group of flying fox during sunset and we will overnight in kalong before wo hiking sunrise  topadar in morning . Dinner and overnight* on Board

DAY 9 PADAR – KOMODO- PINK BEACH – LABUAN BAJO (B,L)

Early wake up call by the birds of the island.  Early morning we heading to Padar island to hiking sunrise and landscape view. After that back to boat for  breakfast on board. While we breakfast we moving to visit Komodo island. Here we make a walk (1 hour) with a local ranger in search of the Komodo dragons. During your visit also wild buffalo, deer, pigs and various species of tropical birds like the Cockatoo can be seen. After that we moving to Pink Beach time to discover the splendid underwater world of these rich waters (snorkels and fins are provided). Before we going back to Labuan bajo for overnight.

Day 10 Labuan Bajo – Denpasar (B)

Breakfast at hotel. At Leisure until transfer you to the Airport for next destination.
